OUR WISH
We all love the idea of Cinderella's fairy godmother making her dream to attend the ball come true. Cinderella's Closet was created to do just that. It’s simple! We provide dresses and accessories to enable girls to attend their high school proms and, at the same time, provide a way to recycle dresses and accessories that are nearly new. It’s an environmentally Friendly, socially acceptable way to make memories.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP:
Cinderella’s Closet was started in May 2009 by sisters State Farm Agent Melissa Shaner and Jennifer McCaig. It has been adopted by City of Tucson Ward 2 Council Member Rodney Glassman, the Sahuaro Girl Scout Council, the YWCA of Tucson, and BolchalkFrey Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. The project is a partnership between these organization and managed as a component of Your Sisters Closet, a program of the YWCA Tucson.
